Urbanity acts as the Data Controller for data collected directly through our website, and as a Data Processor for personal data we process on our platform.

You are responsible for securing your device and browsing activity.

Urbanity is not liable for legal actions or damages resulting from your use of the Website and/or platform.

3. Collection of Data

Personal Data are collected by Urbanity and its subprocessors.

Data are mainly used to provide services, manage customer relationships, process orders, and improve our Website and Services.

Types of Personal Data collected include:

  • Identification data: name, email.
  • Payment data: processed by Stripe (Urbanity does not store payment card details).
  • Location data: user live location by approval. For the purpose of using the tour map.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, network, and device information when you visit our Website. This provides us information about what browser, network, or device is used to visit our Website. The legal basis for such processing is our legitimate interest to analyse and improve the performance of our website and user experience. That does not mean that we track your online activity while you use our Services.

Data are collected: directly from you (account sign‑up, profile updates, payment forms, product‑update email sign‑ups), automatically (cookies and tracking scripts – see our Cookie Policy for more information), and from third parties (Google Maps, Stripe, Base44, Cloudinary, Vercel).

4. Children's Data

We do not knowingly collect data from or market to individuals under 18 years of age. By using our Services, you confirm that you are at least 18, or that you are a parent or legal guardian providing consent for a minor's use. If we discover that we have collected personal information from anyone under 18, we will deactivate the account and delete the data promptly. You can demand the correction of inaccurate personal information and, subject to the nature of the collection and use, the completion of incomplete personal information.

Withdrawing your consent will not affect the lawfulness of any processing we conducted prior to your withdrawal, nor will it affect processing of your personal information conducted in reliance on lawful processing grounds other than consent.

Urbanity will indicate when specific data are necessary for access.

We retain Personal Data for as long as your account is active and as required by law. After this period, we delete or anonymize your data.

Some of our subprocessors (e.g., Google Maps, Stripe, Cloudinary, Vercel) are located outside the European Economic Area (EEA).

When transferring data outside the EEA, we rely on legal safeguards (e.g SCCs) to ensure your data is protected.

We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.

Continued use of the Website or Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.

10. Applicable Law

This Policy is governed by Dutch law.

Disputes will be handled by the competent court in the district of the Controller, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
